IFMA Makes an Impact at The SPARK Center

IFMA Boston has supported Boston Medical Center’s The SPARK Center for more than 20 years. The SPARK Center is a model childcare program offering comprehensive, integrated, state-of-the-art services for children and families whose lives are affected by medical, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.  The chapter’s support has come through our annual Holiday Gala, raffles throughout the year, and through on site work that the board and our membership have provided.

Over the summer, The SPARK Center needed their raised planters in their teaching garden to be replaced. They had fallen in such disrepair that they had to close the garden to the children. So we reached out to member Brian Paige of Paige Landscape Company, Inc. to come to the rescue. Brian did not hesitate when asked and was up to the challenge. They did a beautiful job on the planters and had them installed in time for their annual “graduation”. We can not thank Brian and his team enough for their hard work and willingness to help the kiddos out. THANK YOU!
